Biografia

Alexander Jakhnagiev nasce a Sofia il 21 settembre 1978. Nel 1997 si diploma a pieni voti al Complesso Nazionale di Arte e Cultura al Liceo Italiano di Gorna Banja (Sofia). Dal 1997 e iscritto all’University degli Studi di Perugia, Facolty di Lettere, Corso di Laurea in Antropologia e Storia dell’Arte. Parla italiano, bulgaro, inglese e russo. Figlio d’arte, fin da piccolo frequenta to studio di suo padre - il pittore Ivan Jakhnagiev - nella citty natale. Per I’artista e fondamentale il rapporto try arte e pubblico e da queste ricerche nascono le numerose iniziative d’impatto sociale con frequents interventi sul territorio di Perugia (Body Art, Land Art, Mail Art, Arte e Cibo, Mostra nell’Ascensore…).

La modernità di Alexander Jakhnagiev di Luciano Lepri

Parlare del pittore Alexander Jakhangiev vuol dire parlare di un artista creativo a tutto tondo, che dipinge con il fuoco dell’animo, appena stemperato dalla sua intelligenca libera e incontenibile. Vuol dire parlare di un artista the si manifesta, più volentieri, al di fuori Belle coattive structure espositive cui inevitabilmente le regole obbligano; vuol dire parlare di un pittore la cui espressione artistica si misura con la condizione di libertà assoluta the egli sente come necessità esistenziale. E una struttura, quella del giovane artista bulgaro, nella quale istinto e cultura, raziocinio e sentimento vivono in piena simbiosi tra i guizzi di immagini, slargarsi di forme, intercalare di colori, visualizzazione di segni, in un’armonia creativa dove gli scatti rabbiosi e veloci, cosi come I’appiattirsi dei colori ed il loro assuefarsi alle forme, e visualizzazione di gioie e desideri, di corpose speranze ed ambiziosi obiettivi. La sua è una pittura dove non è possibile ricercare e trovare somiglianze e ascendenze, e che pertanto vale sia nella sua componente analitica che in quella estetica, proprio per cercare di scoprire equilibri, armonie, suggestioni e fisicità tutte proprie, frutto di una piena e totale autocoscienza creativa. Anche in virtu di questo Alexander è pienamente artista dei nostri giorni, ma anzi se posso dire di piu egli è artista del domani, proprio per le istanze artistiche che i suoi lavori contengono e per quella valenza cosmica che dimensiona e struttura i suoi lavori. E’ una pittura tutta da gustare e da vivere, da approfondire e da godere quella che Alexander ci propone, in un concentrato di emozioni che attingono dalla poesia del suo essere, dall’efficacia del suo pensare, dalla spiritualità incondizionata del suo essere artista creativo a tutto tondo.  - Perugia, giugno 2001

Biography:

Alexander Jakhnagiev was born 21 september 1978 in Sofia. In 1997 graduate the diploma to full ballots to the National Complex of Art and Culture to the Italian Grammar school of Gorna Banja (Sofia). From 1997 is enrolled to the University of the Studies of Perugia, Letter Faculty, Course of Bachelor in Anthropology and History of the Art. It speaks Italian, Bulgarian, English and Russian. Son of art, since small attends the study of its father - painter Ivan Jakhnagiev - in the city born them. For the artist the relationship between art is fundamental and public and from these searches is born the numerous initiatives of social impact with frequent participations on the territory of Perugia (Body Art, Land Art, Mail Art, Art and Food, Extension in the Elevator…).

Critic: The modernity of Alexander Jakhnagiev

To talk about the painter Alexander Jakhnagiev means to talk about a creative artist in all respects, an artist who paints with the fire of his soul, just about bridled by his free and indomitable intelligence. It means to talk about an artist who prefers displaying himself outside of the coercive schemes to which artexhibitions normally unavoidably comply; it means to talk about a painter whose artistic expression measures itself with the condition of total freedom, which he perceives as an existential necessity. Within the young Bulgarian artist, instinct and culture, reason and sentiment live in complete symbiosis between those wriggles of images, expanding shapes, insertions of colours and visualisations of signs. In this creative harmony, the furious, violent outbursts of colour and the soothing moments when colours get accustomed to shapes, express the same joys and desires, full-bodied hopes and ambitious objectives. In his kind of painting it is impossible to search and to find artistic resemblance or heritage. Thus his painting must be read in both its analytic and aesthetic components so as to try to discern all of his specifically personal balance, harmony, fascination and physical reality which are the result of total creative selfawareness. Thanks to this also, Alexander is an artist entirely of our days. Actually, if I may say so, he’s an artist of the future, specifically because of the artistic principles contained in his works and because of the cosmic valence which gives his art its dimension and structure. The paintings proposed by Alexander are all to be savoured and experienced, to be explored and enjoyed within the concentrate of emotions that draw on the poetry of his being, on the efficiency of his thinking, on his unconditioned faith in being a creative artist all the way around.
